Why is Options Clinic remodeling?
Options Clinic has not been physically improved since 1992 when the building at 1201 Caledonia Street was purchased. At that time, our facility was created using home grade materials for the cabinets, cupboards, countertops, and flooring. Over the years, regular wear and tear has resulted in a dilapidated condition. The staff finds themselves frequently struggling with run down materials in exam rooms, making serving the client more difficult and time consuming than it needs to be. An updated clinic would allow for improved client care and the delivery of needed community health services which are not provided any where else in the community.

What will the remodel accomplish?

1. Increase client confidentiality;
2. Increase efficiency of clinic operations;
3. Address ergonomic requirements of employee work spaces.

The total cost of the remodel project is estimated at $450,000.00.

What will be done to the clinic?

• Addition of an exam room
• Expand and update central workstation to include: reception, cashier, medical records, medication distribution, and client charting
• Update carpet, paint, lights, and other miscellaneous delayed maintenance items.
